Old Navy Fall Picks

Hello Everyone! After an extended absence I am finally back and will do my best to start blogging more regularly again. A lot of changes have happened in my life recently that explain the time off.

Sadly, Michael and I have split up. While this has been very difficult, I know in the end it is the right thing for both of us. We had a lot of good times together and I have no regrets about the time we shared, but I’m now moving forward here in NYC on my own. I’m very grateful for the incredible support I’ve received from friends and family. I’m now getting settled in a cute little studio on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I’ve also taken a new job as an Executive Assistant at a private equity firm in Midtown East and I’m loving it. My wardrobe will now lean a little more business casual. I hope you all will follow along for my adventures as a single girl, trying to look good on a budget, in the city!

We are having abnormally warm weather here still, but it is supposed to be cooling off next week and fall is fast approaching! Old Navy has some great items out right now to help transition to the next season without breaking the bank. Use code ENJOY for 30% off your women’s purchase!

Bebe

I’m sorry to hear you went thru a breakup. There’s not a lot of encouragement I could give you that you probably haven’t already heard, but I hope you are excited by the idea of (essentially) getting back years that you almost spent on a dead end :*
I know moving is a pain but isn’t there something so awesome about it at the same time? Fresh start…

Lots of luck!

Thank you Bebe, it has been hard but I’m hoping to come out better on the other end.

Neen

Thanks for the budget ideas. I wish you lots of luck, happiness and love in your new chapter.

    Thanks so much Neen!

Marita

You did dodge a bullet. Keep your chin up and smile something better is out there for you.

    amyreh

Thank you Marita! I was very close to his family as well and it is hard to lose them, but in the end I know I made the right decision, as hard as it was.

    Wow….That’s not a very nice comment. :/

I’m so sorry to hear about your breakup. I was wondering what happened to your blog and I’m happy to see you are back! I have always enjoyed your posts and I love many of the looks in this Old Navy post. I’m a pretty big bargain shopper myself, but I do splurge from time to time as well. 😉 I’m loving the plaid looks this season and it looks like I need to make a visit to my local Old Navy very soon…..I always find fun pics there!! Wishing you all the best in your new studio on the Upper East Side. What a fun place to live for sure!

    Thank you so much!

Best of luck Amy! And always remember that God may have a greater plan for you than you ever imagined. I am excited to see your new adventures! Keep us posted 🙂

Best wishes on your next chapter. I have been through a divorce and I understand the pain and healing, it’s a process. I read a great book called Rebuilding: When Your Relationship Ends by Bruce Fisher, for what it’s worth, I found it very helpful. Take Care! Thanks for the Old Navy post, I’ve been wanting some plain for fall. Time to get to Old Navy!

Thank you! I appreciate the recommendation.

Amy

Welcome back! Best of luck in this new chapter of life.

So sorry to hear the news about you and Michael. I feel like you just got married so I guess I have been following you for awhile. It must be very difficult so expect a long road but you will be just fine Amy! Congrats on the new job, apartment and deciding to stay in NY! The best is yet to come!

    amyreh

Thank you Susan! That means a lot.
