Well we are back from our vacation to San Francisco and Napa with my in-laws and it was absolutely incredible! I love trips that consist mostly of eating delicious food and drinking lots of wine… you can’t go wrong.
We started the trip out with 2 days and nights in San Francisco.
Wednesday we flew in, had lunch, and saw a little bit of the city. My in-laws had never been so it was fun to show them around.
I wore my new Loft jeans which I absolutely love – just the right amount of distressing on these I think, along with a mustard blouse and my go to leopard scarf.
Thursday we did a hop on hop off bus tour which is a ton of fun so we got to see all the different neighborhoods, here I am at the waterfront with my MIL. We had beautiful weather!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Michael Mina, a true gourmet experience, on Thursday night, and then the next day packed up and headed up to Napa!
Here we are just past the Golden Gate bridge.
After arriving in Yountville, we headed to lunch at Redd Wood, so delicious! I even cheated and had pizza, it was worth every bite.
After relaxing a bit by the pool at Hotel Yountville, we got ready for dinner and headed out to Bottega which was absolutely amazing.
Saturday we headed out for a private wine tour that was so much fun and took us to some fabulous wineries.
We got to do a cave tour and barrel tasting at Del Dotto
Enjoyed the stunning views at Round Pond
And capped off the day’s touring at Raymond Winery
One of the highlights of the trip was meeting up with Adrienne from Rich Life on a Budget, and her husband Bill, on Saturday afternoon. She lives in Sonoma Valley and they were in the area for the day so came by to join us for some afternoon vino. We all had such a great time enjoying drinks on the pool patio (which is why I am in my swimsuit in the picture!) before heading inside by the fire once it cooled off. We all thanked Adrienne for providing such great suggestions on where to stay and play in Napa, I basically planned our trip based on her recommendations. So glad we got to meet up with them and hope we will get to visit and shop in NYC someday!
We ended our trip on Sunday putzing around downtown Napa, and then enjoyed one last delicious dinner before heading to bed to get ready for an early morning drive back to the SFO airport. I can’t wait to go back again, there is just so much to see, eat, and drink : )
