Condo Revamp

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Mine was pretty good here, Michael was out of town so I spent a lot of time with my girlfriends which is always fun.

As mentioned last week, we have been in the process of redecorating the condo and I finally have pictures to show! I shared with you the decoration of our main living area when we first moved in, so now it was time to finish the rest of the place.

I did a few little updates to the living area, but it mostly stayed the same. I still love it a year later, whew : ) We ended up having to a get a new carpet that the kitties couldn’t destroy, and I also updated the pillows a bit.

I was planning to do an accent wall of a modern wallpaper in my master bedroom, but I ended up loving it so much without it that I changed my mind. The walls are a silvery grey/blue (Sherwin Williams “Misty”) and I find it to be very elegant and relaxing now. That thing above our bed is actually a light because I found out I couldn’t install any new chandeliers or lighting fixtures on our ceilings because they are concrete. Disappointing, but we made it work. Our new king size mattress is a Westin Heavenly Bed and I swear I could stay in it all day – this is a problem when you work from home and technically can…

Our master bath I really like with its neutral black, white, and grey theme so we simply repainted a slightly brighter white and switched from white towels to grey to add a little contrast. I still have a few more updates to do in our guest bath, and nothing too exciting there so we’ll skip sharing that one for now!

I was very excited that Michael agreed to let me make our guest bedroom/office a little more glam/fun. I was going to have the whole room painted a Tiffany blue color, but in the end we decided to just do a few accent walls with it, the rest being the same silvery grey/blue as our bedroom. The black cabinet in the last picture was white before and I sanded it, painted it, and changed out the knobs all by myself! I’m not much of a do-it-yourselfer so this was a big accomplishment for me.

Thanks Valerie! The nightstands are from Dania furniture. Good luck with the master bedroom redecoration!
