Mid-Heel Shoe Picks

I don’t know about you all, but I am dying to start wearing open toed shoes! It is going to be awhile before that actually happens here in Seattle, but I decided to get a jump on some new shoes for spring to have something to look forward to. And I found some cute closed toe options as well that will keep my feet a little warmer and dryer in the meantime.

Seeing as how I live in downtown Seattle and rarely drive anywhere anymore, it is essential that my shoes be comfortable for walking a decent number of blocks. For me, I’ve narrowed this down to nothing more than a 3 inch heel.  I’m a little jealous of all those bloggers out there rocking 4-5 inch heels in NYC and such, but uncomfortable feet make me grumpy so I’ve made it my mission to find mid-heel footwear that still makes me feel fabulous. I’ll hang on to some of my higher heels for nights I know I will mostly be sitting, but those are few and far between so I’m focusing my efforts on more walkable options.

Loft currently has a great selection of mid-heel shoes, here is what I ended up with: (I am an 8 or 8.5 and took an 8 in all of these)

I will most definitely be wearing these slingbacks soon thanks to the closed toe, I love the pop of citron they will add to my outfits. Also wouldn’t mind a pair of these in the floral print too.

Adore these neutral 2-tone sandals

I find gold shoes to be a warm weather essential and these are so cute with the snake skin embossing.

And of course a little Target shoe shopping is in order, I have found some of my favorite shoes there. Even better, they are having a buy one, get one 50% off sale right now. (online only)

I was so excited to find a pair of closed toe espadrille’s, these will get tons of use this is spring when I want to dress for warmer weather but also want dry feet. The neutral color is fab but they also come in black, red, and teal. I want those too!

Another great 2-tone shoe, a wedge this time, I’m loving the cobalt color on these, but like the other color choices as well.

If 3 inches is still too high for you, check out these adorable 2 inch wedges – the snakeskin is so cute!
