Happy New Year to you all! Hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s Eve celebration, whatever it is that you did.

Today is our last day in New York, we head home tomorrow, and while sad to leave, I am ready to get back home to my kitties. It is also my husband’s 31st birthday, so a big Happy Birthday to him! We are headed out to dinner tonight to celebrate.

For New Year’s Eve the big Italian family and I headed to an event place here on Long Island for a fun night of dinner and dancing.

I wore a blue lace dress I got on sale and loved it! I was concerned about what bra I would wear with the sheer back, but ended up just pairing with a navy bra that matched the color of the dress so that worked out well. I also was determined to track down a pair of cute low heeled shoes because I get cranky when my feet hurt, and was very happy I found this black patent pair at DSW.

I think I’m forgoing resolutions this year, how about you?
