Last night I went over to my friend Mollie’s for a little girl’s night in! So much fun, it was mostly women I had never met before so it was great to meet some new people. (Like my new friend, Sirri, check out her awesome food blog here) One of Mollie’s other friends does the marketing for a local nail salon here in Seattle called Julep, so we also walked away with a great gift bag – only at Mollie’s parties!

Hmm, what to wear to this event? I decided to add a little sparkle to my jeans by wearing this oversized dolman sweater I picked up at a consignment store in Belltown called Sell your Sole. If you are here in the Puget Sound area definitely go check it out. I got this Haute Hippie sweater for just $70! Originally it would have been about $300 – definitely not in my budget. A gold sweater is a great piece to have for the holidays too, you will definitely be seeing this with my black velvet skinnies for a Christmas event!

What is your favorite consignment purchase?

Jeans – J Brand, Sweater – Haute Hippie (similar herehere, and here), Necklace – Jewelmint, Shoes – Max Studio (similar here and here)

Happy Friday, hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Pretty shimmer top. Off topic, did you change your blog? I don’t have that funny face when I comment anymore.

I’m still on the same platform so not sure why, but glad the funny face went away : )

Me too! I started a blog so my name is changed in my comments (still Lisa from YLF)

Hey sister! Long time no talk! I see (from my blog stalking) that your Ecuador trip was good! Glad your back in town and posting! I’m getting MUCHO inspiration from your outfits to revisit what I already own in new ways! Also, I just FINALLY tried the sock bun the other day, and thought of our discussion at Mollie’s about hair (real and fake). The sock worked like a charm, now I’m hooked! I even trimmed my bangs so I can rock the sock bun with long shaggy bangs and some skinnies this week. YAY! Happy Holidays!

Hi Siiri! Thanks so much that is so nice to hear! Ok, must try this sock bun now : ) Your bangs sound fabulous! We should get together in January, I want to hear how your chef adventure went. Happy Holidays!
