Hot Pink & Stripes

Happy Friday to you all! Hope you have a fun weekend planned. Tonight I’m doing a jewelry show for a friend (I sell Premier Designs jewelry), and then Michael and I are headed for a little getaway to Portland tomorrow so looking forward to that.

Yesterday I headed up to see my friend, Mollie, at University Village where she was doing a trunk show for her job at France Luxe, a retailer of all sorts of gorgeous hair accessories.

For my exciting adventure beyond Starbucks I decided to get a little dressed up and take my stripey stretchy skirt out for a spin. Simply paired with a tank, pink cardigan, classic pumps, and a fun new Premier Designs necklace.

Skirt – Old Navy (I took a size S), Tank – H&M, Cardigan – Halogen, Shoes – Nine West (similar), Necklace – Premier Designs

Loved seeing all the fun France Luxe accessories. Such a fun way to add a little extra flair to an outfit and keep your hair in place – must try to branch out a little more there.

Here’s what I came home with –  a headband that is completely stretchable so it molds to your head and doesn’t hurt, and an adorable little ponytail holder to jazz up a basic do. Can’t wait to try them out!

I really like hot pink paired with nautical stripes: feminine meets masculine.

I like I still have a France Luxe headband in my stash somewhere…

I love that Old Navy Skirt! Such a great wardrobe staple and I love it with the hot pink. Think i’ll be heading to Old Nave this weekend!

Was great seeing you that day, Amy! Thank you for stopping by. You looked beautiful as always and I hope you enjoy your new hair accessories!!

That bright pink cardi looks fabulous with the strips!
Love it!

Darling outfit. I wish I had jumped on that striped skirt a little sooner…it was sold out by the time I found it.
Hot pink and navy – a great color combo. I hope you had fun in Portland!

Nice blog! would you mind following each other via bloglovin? 🙂
