Sorry for my lack of posting, I had a crazy week in Southern California! So I’m back with a quick update before I head to NYon a red eye tonight for my sister in law’s wedding. Hoping to have 1 or 2 guest posts this week to share with you while I’m gone though!

Most of the week in Cali I was working, but Saturday I was lucky enough to get to go with my friend’s Jessica, Kenzie, and Elizabeth to see Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw in their “Brothers of the Sun” tour. As mentioned previously, Jessica is the audiologist for Kenny Chesney’s tour manager and he came through again with fabulous tickets for us in the “sand bar” right up front by the stage.

Here we are ready to head in. It was a hot day so I wore my Victoria’s Secret beach dress, which is cool and comfortable, along with flat jeweled sandals – you have to have comfy feet when you are standing for that long!

 

We made it in!

After seeing Jake Owen and Grace Potter, both great, perform, we were ready for Tim McGraw! He did not disappoint. We decided we actually liked his performance better than Kenny’s, which was a bit of a surprise!

At the end of course they put on a fabulous performance of “Feel Like a Rock Star”

Sunday we hung on the beach and then I finally made it home late Sunday night – what a great trip, thanks for hosting us Jess!
