Sheer & Sheer

Monday night I had plans to go to a show at a local live music venue here in Seattle called the Triple Door, which is set up like a dinner theatre and you get to eat while you enjoy the music. These days I will use any excuse to dress up, and decided to wear the red maxi skirt I picked up at the Nordstrom half yearly sale. The bottom half of the skirt is sheer, but not so sheer it is immediately obvious, which I like. I wore this skirt on the trip to San Diego with a white tank top, but in true Seattle fashion, it is still chilly here so I decided a sweater was a better way to go. I just so happen to have a black one with sheer sleeves so went ahead and paired them together. A chunky silver statement necklace and my comfy cage heels completed the outfit. Had a great time with friends, and really enjoyed the show!

Aw, thanks! Can’t wait to see how you style it!

Love the Triple Door, and love that skirt!

Pretty! Don’t you love wearing long sleeves in June?! I’m wearing a white cashmere sweater today….at least it’s a summer color.

I sense a little sarcasm there : ) Let’s hope the warm weather comes soon!
