Peplum

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a good weekend!

We had a fun filled day wearing green shirts on St. Patrick’s Day, here is a picture with my girlfriends – clearly Lorena will need to get a green shirt before next year : ) I wore my Old Navy green blouse and decided to change it up by adding a belt and then I just wore jeans and cognac boots that matched the belt. Cousin Lisa provided some fun flair for us to wear too!

Yesterday I went to my Primal cooking class and it was awesome! I got 3 amazing new recipes, I’m making one tonight that I will document to share with you all – it is a smokey chili. Delicious!

Back to work today, and I had to go on site so I took the opportunity to dress up a little. I actually got this peplum shirt back during Black Friday shopping, but I think I was saving it for warmer weather. Now that I’ve decided it is not coming anytime soon, I went ahead and pulled it out, and paired with black skinny pants and then added my leopard pumps to jazz it up a little. I like mixing the black and white colorblocking with the print, and I like the little bit of retro glam the waist defining peplum style adds.

Have you tried any peplum styles yet?

Tonight I will just be cooking away and getting some more work done, nothing too exciting, have a good night!

I’m just impressed how great you look in clear colors: the green, the white and black, cherry red, etc. I’m looking forward to the chili recipe!
