Today would have been my best friend Jenn’s 30th birthday. I can’t help but think what party we might have been planning. And by we I mean me. I am a total planner and Jenn was always working crazy hours at the hospital so I would keep track of her nights off and plan the things we did around them. She always used to say I knew her schedule better than she did.

This is one of my favorite pictures of her, so cute. I swear I remember her laugh and voice still like I got to hear them yesterday.

Her sister, Kristin, also one of my very good friends, put together this wonderful slideshow a few years back, just click here to see it. Here are Jenn and Kristin on a trip their family took just before she passed away.

Jenn was such a beautiful person, inside and out. It is clear this song “Who You’d Be Today” was written by someone who lost a loved one at a young age. I think it really touches anyone who has lost someone special – you can’t help but wonder from time to time what it would be like if they were still here.
