Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I know some people hate Valentine’s Day, but I personally am a fan of any holiday that gives me a chance to try and convince my husband that a present is in order. However this year when I asked my husband what he was getting me for Valentine’s Day he told me “a condo”. Ok, fair enough. As long as he doesn’t try and use that for my 30th birthday too…

He’s a keeper : )

In the past we have generally gone out to dinner for Valentine’s, but tonight I decided to make a special dinner instead. On the menu is rack of lamb, cheesy cauliflower puree, and prosciutto wrapped asparagus. For dessert we will be having Love You Long Time Chocolate Cupcakes that I already made and are delicious!

Today I am participating in Bloggers do it Better: Red. So of course I am wearing red. Red pants to be exact. And since I decided yesterday’s outfit would have been better with my leopard print pumps I figured I would give them a shot today instead of my originally planned nude heels as well. And I’m glad I did. Be sure to go check out all of the other bloggers too!

What do you have planned for Valentine’s Day? Are you wearing red today?

I am wearing a red cardigan today. And a scarf with lovebirds and hearts on it. Perfect for Valentine’s day. You look lovely, enjoy your dinner!

Great valentines and BDIB look. I adore the red pants, definitely want to get myself a pair. I love the shoes too.

You look gorgeous! And your meal sounds delicious. Asparagus will be in season here soon, and I plan to grill alot of it with prosciutto.

Thanks Rebecca! Yes, I was very excited to find asparagus last night at Whole Foods for just $2.99/pound

Love the shoes!!! I sell Premier jewelry so I love seeing how you pair your jewels with what!
