Happy Monday everyone! I’m sorry for my unannounced absence on Friday, I came down with a 24 hour stomach bug – so needless to say there was only pajama wearing for me. I did however get to watch the entire first season of Downton Abbey at Rebekah’s suggestion, and am now completely obsessed. If you have Netflix instant queue, watch it! I am hoping Season 2 is out soon because I need to know what happens!

Fortunately I was feeling better on Saturday so the hubby and I ran a bunch of errands and then I went to my friend Susie’s birthday party Saturday night. Sunday was spent helping a client find a new wardrobe, which is always fun and rewarding.

Getting dressed today was easy because I just put on the outfit I had planned for Friday and never wore. I feel a little retro 40’s in today’s outfit with my new t-strap pumps (Christmas gift from in laws). I went with my textured tights to add a little edge. You’ve seen this blouse previously here and here with jeans, I thought it would be nice to change it up with a skirt.

Tonight I plan on cleaning out some drawers and Michael is very excited for the bacon meatloaf on the menu.

Hope you all had a good weekend and have a wonderful Monday!

Amy, I’m so glad you liked Season 1. I heard a rumor that you can watch Season 2 on the PBS website. You are going to adore the wardrobe, as well as the fine manners.

You look really good for having the stomach flu (yuck). Glad to know you are feeling better.

Definitely going to check that out! Thank you!

Glad you are feeling better!!! The color on this bouse is great, no wonder you felt 40’s glam, you look it!!

Sorry to hear you were ill, but SO GLAD to hear that you’re feeling better! Not gonna lie…I thought about you on Friday when I didn’t see your new post in my in-box! LOL!!!
BTW…you look fab…as per usual!

Thanks Karissa, I appreciate you thinking about me : )

Love the shirt, Amy. You look great! The T-straps are super cute, too.

Super cute outfit! AND you should know that Season 2 started last Sunday on PBS, and will be on every Sunday. It started with a 2-hour season premiere!

LOVE Downton Abbey! I just watched the whole first season last weekend too! My sisters and I planned a Girls Fun Day, but one of my sisters got sick so we ended up laying around watching Downton Abbey together all weekend. 🙂 So fun.

In the middle of the 2 hour season 2 premiere – so good! Thanks for the comment!

Sorry to hear you were sick but you look fab!
