Bye Bye Fall

According to the news this morning we are in for a long, cold winter here in Seattle – surprise, surprise. It is already below freezing in the mornings and we are lucky to be getting to mid-40’s for the high – seems like Fall has passed us by quickly.  My husband is excited about the early ski season!

I have a few pieces in my wardrobe that I wear strictly seasonally. Not that many as that wouldn’t make for a very functional wardrobe, but I sort of like having those favorite things I only wear one season a year that I look forward to pulling out and they still seem like new. Today’s top is making it’s last apperance this year I think – to me it just screams Fall and I always feel like Winter really begins the day after Thanksgiving. That’s when I just want to cuddle up in cozy sweaters. You saw this top here before, today I paired with my army green skinnies instead of the white jeans and added a belt for a little extra shape. For tonight I have a beautiful grass fed pot roast currently cooking itself in the Crockpot – the perfect meal for the end of a cold, rainy day.

I finally started a Facebook page for this blog, would love it if you readers out there would support me by clicking here to “like” my page. I will try and get the hubby to figure out how to actually add the “like” button to this site over the Thanksgiving holiday – I’m not very good with that technical coding stuff.

Hope you all have a great Wednesday!

And this is why we moved from Seattle to Austin, although a long, hot, dry summer isn’t much fun, either…
