The Striped Dress Transition

Sorry, not getting my camera back until tomorrow night, so another iPhone pic today. I decided since today is supposed to be the warmest of the week (64 degrees and sunny!) that it was the perfect day to wear a Summery dress in way that works for Fall. Also going to happy hour after work, yay! So out comes what has turned out to be my most versatile dress yet, the navy and white striped LOFT dress. See all the other ways I have worn it here. Just added my mustard cardi and boots instead of sandals and there you go.

How do you transition your Summer dresses to Fall?

So cute. And you look fantastic with your hair piled on top.

I saw three striped dresses while I was away, and lots of striped tops in the classic French sailor style you are showcasing here. I think it is a timeless pattern that goes with just about anything and any other pattern.

Ok, uh, I’m gonna need to copy this…

I love that outfit!! What a great way to add some color to your outfit! You have such amazing style, you make me want to buy everything you mention 🙂

Great transitional outfit. I transition my dresses in a similar fashion. Adding a cardigan or blazer and boots to the look always work. I’ll even layer a long sleeve t-shirt underneath the dress which you don’t see but adds warmth.
