Sun and Stripes

Well it is another beautiful sunny day here in the PNW, and I am extra happy about this because I planned an outdoor happy hour for my team this afternoon. The promise of sun and free cocktails at the end of the day will definitely perk up this Wednesday!

I have said before how much I love dresses because it is one piece dressing. They are a little more difficult to remix and make look different than seperates though. You have seen this dress in a few different ways before here and here but today I am mixing it up by just adding a belt. It also occured to me today that I could layer a sweater or something over this and make it look like a skirt… – next time!

Hope you get a chance to enjoy some sunshine wherever you are today!

Dress – The Loft (very similar and 25% off), Belt – Nordstrom BP (similar), Blazer – H&M (similar), Shoes – Nine West (similar), Watch – Marc Jacobs, Jewelry – Premier Designs (I sell)

Oh and ps, if you wanted to get anything from Payless take along this coupon or use online (shipping only $$5.95)

Hi there! I just found your blog via Rebekah of Cupcake Caramel. I ate low carb for 2 years and looked and felt fantastic…but I eventually went back to my carby ways and now eat sugar and white flour regularly. I often entertain the idea of going back to low carb, and you have got me thinking I should. Especially after seeing photos of you – you are gorgeous! And your figure is enviable.

I look forward to reading more of your blog and trying some of your recipes.

Thanks Adrienne! It definitely is a lifestyle, but whenever I want to reach for a bagel or something, I ask myself if it is really worth it knowing how I will feel 2 hours later. I do look a whole lot better now that I eat low carb, but I also have energy like I never had before that makes it easier to resist all the bad things. Good luck and let me know if you ever have any questions or need support!

I posted a comment on your guest post for Erin, and in it I stated that I would be visiting your blog…..and WOW!!!! I am so glad that I did! Loft should have used you for their advertisements of this dress…you look better in it than their model!!!!
