Ah, I hate Mondays! I feel like I am never quite prepared for the week to start. But I did have a fun weekend so can’t complain too much. Although I didn’t get enough wedding thank you notes done so still on the task list for this week!

On a fashion note, I decided I had to have the navy BR Mad Men blouse before it sold out, and figured it was the perfect thing to spend the rest of a gift card I had on. I have a hard time finding blouses that aren’t too baggy and fit well, and when I put this on, I knew it would be a Fall/Winter staple item. On its own, under cardigans, dressed up or down – some things are just worth the money. It will be coming out for a spin soon!

Now onto today – I had to be at work a little early which is always a problem for me. So you think, get up a little earlier right? Well, I also hate getting out of bed. So I didn’t have much time to get dressed, but I bought this shirt on Ann Taylor clearance awhile back and haven’t pulled it out so just paired it with white jeans, a grey cardigan, and added a sparkly necklace. Not my best outfit ever, but not too bad for a running late Monday I think!

How are Mondays for you? Are you more prepared than I am to start the week?

White and any neutral is such a clean, crisp pairing. You wear gray well, and I hope to see more pictures of you wearing white jeans for Fall (one of my girlfriends who lives in Clyde Hill believes that summer is dead and that it’s been Fall for two weeks now).

Well since it just finally got warm here in Seattle, I am holding onto summer through September if I can! And I just picked up a pair of off white skinnies on clearance at the Gap that I will be wearing tucked into boots all winter so stay tuned! And you can tell your friend that the rule about not wearing white after Labor Day is outdated : )

I am looking foward to your white jeans in the fall. Great Monday outfit, it’s simple, classic and perfect for a “in a rush” type of day. I have to put my clothes out at night, or any day of the week is a bad morning to get ready. 🙂
