A scarf kind of day

Had so much fun at the Sugarland concert last night, they were amazing! But I’m tired today, didn’t get home until 11:15 which is way past my bedtime.

Well another day we are going to manage to get over 70 degrees today so pulled out a skirt again. Today’s outfit is a total bargain outfit – I found this skirt and this blouse (last seen here) both on mega clearance. I found the skirt sitting alone on a clearance rack at Macy’s and I think it was maybe $12 and then found this blouse on the clearance rack at Old Navy for just $5 – yay me : )

I built this outfit around the skirt, and felt like wearing a scarf so just tucked this white blouse in, went with my leopard scarf, and then instead of black shoes, I decided on my clearance Ann Taylor camel peep toes to pull out the other color in the scarf.

Have you had any recent great bargain purchases?

GOD, you look posh. You have some seriously sophisticated style, lady. Basically, I aspire to have exactly your kind of style. I’ll keep working on it. Mine’s a little more casual (probably because of the 3 year old), but in my head, I’m dressing in pretty scarves and skirts! Love this outfit (COOL skirt!)

Oh, and BLEEP this weather!

Thanks Erin! Yeah, I imagine if I had a 3 year old I wouldn’t be running around in a skirt and heels : ) You always look just great for what you have going on though. I can wear whatever I want to work so try to mix it up between casual and getting a little more dressed up sometimes. And yes, this weather sucks – how sad is it that it is the middle of July and I am wishing I brought a sweater…

And I just re-read your blurb and about died when I saw that this outfit was such a steal. You always have a way of looking expensive!

Great bargain outfit. And a great example of how an accessory can “make” an outfit. The scarf is the perfect touch here.
