Weekend Wrap up and Meet Coco

Well hope you all had a great weekend, I never want to see another airplane again right now! Had a great time partying in New York though, Michael’s family is wonderful. Went to a fun engagement party for my sister in law on Friday night (after our Thursday night red eye) and then had a wedding for one of Michael’s good friends from high school on Saturday night. I am partied out and looking forward to a weekend of some much needed errand running and lounging coming up.

Here is what I wore to the wedding on Saturday, I picked this dress up on clearance at The Loft a few months back for $35. Didn’t know exactly what I would wear it for at the time, but when deals come along like that, best to grab it while you can! It always seems whenever I actually need a dress I can’t find one I like so I am determined to pick more up when I find great deals, even if it will be awhile before I wear it. I love the color of this and paired it with my “wedding shoes” to add a little sparkle.

Then today you get to meet one of my cats,Coco, who I also refer to as “bug bug” because she is very attention needy! I have a confession to make, Michael and I are “the crazy cat people.” We have 3 cats now, Lola, and then Coco’s twin brother Oliver. We call them our kitty kids : ) And thanks to me not cropping this photo you get to see our stack of boxes to go through as well! Coco posed sweetly through 2 rounds of pictures so she obviously wanted to be introduced.

Tonight I am going to a concert right from work so brought a change of clothes with me, but today is supposed to be one of the few warmer days this week so I wanted to go with bare legs while I had the chance. Here is another great deal I got on a dress – found this on sale at the BCBGeneration outlet in Camarillo, CA for just $15 – and it has gotten lots of use so well worth it! I can dress it up or down just using different accessories and shoes – the beauty of a great LBD! It is a little low cutĀ for work, so I just throw a cami underneath, some wedges, a colorful necklace, and ready to go.

Do you have a go to Little Black Dress?

Great color blue dress on you and the wedding shoes are the perfect touch. Kudos for wearing them again. I have yet to wear mine again and it’s been almost two years. I didn’t have a go to black dress until NAS this year, now I have the T Tahari sheath which should become a workhorse.
