Better late than never – 1 post, 3 outfits

Yay! I finally got the pictures off the camera from our sunny Thursday and Friday last week. I was so excited to wear this dress and skirt that have been dying to come out!

For the first warm day, I wore this Loft dress I picked up at 40% off. I love the stripes and think the side ruching is very flattering. I simply paired with my denim jacket that is GAP via Goodwill and these great camel colored peep toes that were originally $158 at Ann Taylor, but I got them for $35 (I love their shoes, so totally worth it!)

Then onto Friday, another warm day, I got this skirt for $19 at NY&Co, and I love the fun yellow color. I wasn’t sure exactly what to pair it with, so just went classic with a wrinkle resistant white button down (these shirts are great, come out of the dryer looking freshly pressed). These shoes are from Shoe Dazzle, and were a perfect match with their yellow soles that peep out, so I went a bit matchy matchy here with the skirt, shoes and belt, but I think it works! I added a pop of contrasting color with the turquoise necklace.

Now skip forward a few days and here we are at Tuesday. It is supposed to actually be 66 degrees here today, and I almost wore a dress, but there was no sun outside this morning, and when I was walking to my bus stop I was glad I went with pants! I went to Nordstrom yesterday to return a few things, and browsed a few sale racks (half yearly sale officially starts tomorrow, but they already had some stuff with great discounts). Well I was so excited when I found this fun lightweight jacket with ruffles down the front. It is the perfect summer layering piece and only $40! Just added my pearls and snakeskin shoes to complete.

3 outfits, you are going to spoil us! Love the casual denim jacket with the striped dress. This dress is very flattering. Outfit #2 is my favorite, the yellow skirt is a show stopper for this outfit. If you are feeling bold, red and yellow go very well together as another outfit idea. Or swap the white shirt for a denim shirt. The pink and gray in #3 are lovely together, but the shoes, are super fab!

Thanks for the ideas Lisa! I am still on the look for a denim shirt that fits well!

I have a denim shirt from BR and almost picked up one from Gap last year. Perhaps those stores would have something?
