Ready for the Gondola

Wearing my boat neck striped shirt always makes me feel very French. But I guess Gondola’s are Italian, so apparently I feel Italian too : )

This denim pencil skirt is actually getting too big now, I like the waist to sit a little higher. Good news is I finally weigh less than I did in high school and am only 3 pounds from my all time, been trying for 10 years, weight goal. Thank you Mr. Bacon and Eggs. Bad news is, time to spend a few bucks to get this taken in. That really isn’t bad news though I guess, the tailor is great at making my items fit like a glove!

It is still cold here, so in an attempt to be able to break out my Spring clothes while wearing skirts, I am trying out nude fishnets for hosiery. They aren’t as warm as tights, I will admit, but overall, a pretty good option for at least something to keep me from freezing!

Paired with my red pumps, that I absolutely adore and hope will be with me for many years to come, I love a pop of red!

Shirt – Old Navy, Skirt – The Loft, Shoes – Corso Como
