A big thank you once again to Joey at Sleep.Love.Eat, formerly Paleo Girls, for this idea/recipe. Made just a few small changes, mostly that mine were beef tacos, not Turkey, since that is what I had on hand.

Ingredients:

1 lb. Grass fed organic beef

This seasoning recipe mixed together in a bowl

1 head of cabbage (could use lettuce too, but cabbage stands up better)

2 avocados, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic salt (for quick quacamole)

Organic salsa (or make your own)

Shredded cheese (optional)

Directions:

Brown beef in a skillet on medium high until fully cooked

Add seasonings to beef and stir until fully coated

(My pan had enough fat that I didn’t need to add anything, but if yours doesn’t, add a little water and olive oil )

While beef is simmering in seasoning, tear apart cabbage gently to make “shells”

Also make easy guacamole by mashing 2 avocados with 2 spoons full of salsa along with 1/4 tsp of cumin, 1/4 tsp of garlic salt, and a pinch of salt and pepper

Now set out with your salsa, cheese, and cabbage for everyone to make their own tacos!
