Pattern mixing, budget finds, and baseball!

Well, it is still 10 degrees below normal here in Seattle so I am trying to look “Springy” despite the cold! It just makes me feel better.

I haven’t done much pattern mixing, I find it is difficult without just the right pieces, but these new Target shoes, that I featured on my last budget blog, seemed like a good place to start! So I pulled out the navy in them by mixing with my blue and white checked shirt, also from my budget blog, and layered with a V neck to keep warm.

Then over the weekend I went to the Mariner’s game with my Cousin on Saturday night – my first game of the year! It was chilly out so I went with my Steve Madden Intyce boots, these were one of my best purchases everĀ for under $150, I love them and you will see a lot of them. Went with a bit of a nautical sweater which screams Spring to me, and added a pop of color with my necklace.
