As fall is fast approaching I’m pulling out all my summery florals and shoes. Wore this outfit to work from a coffee shop and run a few errands, a silky blouse and jeans with fun shoes is always an easy outfit formula.
This week has been a bit crazy packing for Paris! We leave Friday and I’m so excited. Michael and I are headed there with my in-laws, and then will spend our last weekend in Champagne on our own. This will be my last post as I get all my errands done and work wrapped up before we leave. I will be back just after Labor Day with lots of fun pictures to share!
Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend!
Loft Friend’s and Family sale is on, a great time to pick up some summer to fall transition pieces for 40% off! Use Code: SHAREIT
Here are some of my favorites:
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours flew by way too quickly!
I had been wanting to remix this yellow dress (last seen here) into a more casual look, perfect for happy hour. I added some striped espadrilles and a denim jacket and there you go!
Thanks for stopping by!
I wore this all white outfit to dinner and drinks with friends last Friday night. Pairing different textures is an easy way to make this kind of look work, then I just added some ankle strap sandals and citrus colored accessories for a little punch. I’m also obsessed with this gorgeous Kendra Scott necklace my husband gave me for my birthday – I wear it with just about everything!
Happy Hump Day!
Sunday I headed out to brunch with my friend Tara to a great little rooftop spot. So cute with a live jazz band! It was a beautiful day, not too warm, so I decided to layer a maxi dress with this crochet poncho I found at a boutique in Nantucket. I definitely plan on layering this over jeans and a tank as well, so many options!
I’ve also been wearing these studded gladiator sandals just about everyday – so comfy and they add a little something to the simplest of outfits.
Thanks for stopping by!
I’ve been slacking on the posting lately because last Monday I headed out for a whirlwind tour of the West! I flew to LA to visit my mom for a few days, then spent a day in Long Beach with my friends before heading to San Diego for one of my best friend’s wedding. Now I’m currently in New Mexico for a few days with my sorority sister Kara and her 3 girls, heading home on a red eye Wednesday night. Whew!
I’m having a great time though, the wedding was just beautiful and then my first night in New Mexico Kara’s oldest daughter, Allie, and I made cocktails and mocktails – I call her my mini cray-cray : )
The Saturday before I headed out on my trip we celebrated my friend Mario’s birthday at a fun place in Manhattan called Barcade. I wore a new top I picked up recently at Nordie’s that I am obsessed with – the fringe just makes it so fun! For its first outing I paired with white jeans and black cage sandals – it doesn’t need a whole lot more! I took an 8 in this top.

Warby Parker has asked me to let you know about an exciting new collection they have rolled out, available beginning today! I’m not being compensated in anyway for this post, I wanted to do it because my husband is such a Warby Parker fan! I think he has about 5 pairs of sunglasses and regular glasses from them now.
Not only are the glasses affordable, many less than $100 including prescription lenses with anti-reflective coating, the quality and style are fantastic. And to top it all off, for every pair of glasses that are purchased, a pair is donated to someone in need. I am in the market for some new glasses myself, and plan to head over to their Soho store to pick up a pair soon. For those who aren’t by a store, Warby Parker will send you 5 pairs of frames at a time to try on at home, then you can pick what you like and order with your prescription. So easy!
Their new Beacon Collection is “inspired by impromptu, can’t-duplicate-them all-nighters, when having no plans brings endless possibilities” and are designed “to make a similarly fine companion to late night dates, rooftop sunrises, and everything in between.”
Hope you will pop over and check out their stylish new collection!
Almost to the weekend, yay!
Put this outfit together to run errands and meet Michael for dinner. I used to be scared to pair black with yellow to avoid the “bumble bee” effect, but I really like the combo now when done right – I think adding a print helps make it work.
Don’t forget the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to all today – check out my picks!
